FAQ Design Studio

Can I use my own custom fonts in Design Studio?

Short answer: yes — upload a font file (TTF/OTF) in the Text panel's font picker and it becomes available for that project's text layers, right alongside the built-in font library.

How to do it

  1. Open any Text element's font dropdown and choose “Upload font”.
  2. Select a .ttf or .otf file — variable fonts load at their default weight, so pick a static weight file if you need a specific one, like SemiBold.
  3. The uploaded font is saved to that project, so it's available again if you reopen it later — but it isn't shared automatically across other projects. Upload it again there, or duplicate a project that already has it, if you need it elsewhere.

One thing to know

Web font formats like WOFF or WOFF2 aren't accepted directly — convert to TTF or OTF first if that's the only format you have.

Bringing your brand font into a design? Open Design Studio in Zurapic and upload it from the Text panel.
