How do I merge PDFs with different page sizes without distortion?
Short answer: Zurapic's Merge tool keeps each source page at its own original size instead of forcing everything onto one canvas — mixed sizes in a merged PDF are normal and won't stretch or crop, as long as “Keep original size” stays on.
Why it looks distorted
Most PDF viewers display pages at the same on-screen width no matter their real size. That puts a US Letter page right next to an A4 page, or a scanned receipt next to a full page, and the size difference can look like one page was stretched — even though nothing was resized.
How to fix it in Zurapic
- Keep “Keep original size” turned on in Merge before combining — it's the default, and it leaves every page exactly as it was.
- If you actually want uniform pages, switch to “Normalize to first page size” — pick which page's size to conform to, and Zurapic centers/pads the others instead of stretching them.
- For a small scanned page like a receipt mixed into a document of full pages, consider a crop/fit pass on that one page rather than resizing the whole set.
